100 Days of School

This week marked the 100th day of school for students this year. Elementary teachers had all kinds of activities revolving around the 100 days theme for students to stay busy with. Students in Mrs. Luevano’s kindergarten class made 100 day cereal necklaces - and then ate them. In Ms. Garcia’s kindergarten class students designed and wore shirts celebrating their 100th day of school.

The hallways were dressed up as well with entire doorways overlaid with construction paper representing the number 100. Every day is a learning experience and the students and teachers enjoyed this opportunity to teach math while celebrating getting that much closer to summer.
